Mission
The challenge has always been to inspire people to want to adventure Southern Africa. To appreciate it’s charms and beuties. The birth place of overlanding & exploration, in wild and untamed places. Places that will spark your adventurer’s spirit and leave you with a sense of belonging.
Values
To do a place justice, tell the story, and reveal the essence of travelling new places. To share, educate, inspire and enjoy the priviledges of continuing to live the adventure of life. It just so happens that I get to do what I love, and take you on this amazing adventure.
In 2015,
4x4ventures started as a hobbiest channel where I learnt to off-road, exploring 4×4 tracks close to home. My aim was always to use the vehicle for it’s intended purposes, 4×4 off-road adventure driving.
Subsequent to these earlier learnings, I realised that there was an opportunity to educate & inspire people on what I was experiencing.
Those early days ignited my passion to re-visit & explore the wild, & as I was a creative by trade, the YouTube channel, 4x4ventures was born. A show that would inspire, educate, a show where I would invite you to join me on the “African adventure.”
I am a priviledged husband & father to my tribe, on all days, but adventurer and overlander at every other moment. I am thankful that I get to share with you these magic Southern African wild places. They are special in every way & documenting the adventure is an absolute priviledge.
